Blank screen on boot if I don't turn monitor on quick enough !?

I have an AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card and have been using two monitors. The primary monitor is connected via DisplayPort, while the secondary monitor was connected via HDMI. I no longer have the secondary monitor, and now I’m experiencing issues—when I start my computer, I get a black screen if I don’t turn on the monitor before the system starts.

If I don’t turn on the monitor in time, I can’t reach the login screen and have to restart the computer. The same issue occurs when the system goes to sleep—if I don’t turn on the monitor beforehand, the login screen doesn’t appear, and I have to restart the PC.

It seems to be an issue with the signal from the DisplayPort, as I had no such problems when the secondary monitor was connected via HDMI.

Aynone had similar problem? What can be done?

Also have this issue with my RX 7800 XT. I’m using a monitor connected via DisplayPort. If I’m not fast enough and turn on the monitor, I stuck in a black screen then. I think that the login screen is reached, but I’m not able to do anything.

I configured the power button to shut down the PC. This works so that my PC is shutting down. Turning on the PC again and everything is fine because the monitor is powered on already.

Didn’t find a solution yet and it also happens with other distributions. So it isn’t an issue with EOS. Just have to remember to turn on the monitor first or as fast as possible.
