Best way to view webp file on Plasma?

I’ve followed the post below and installed “kdegraphics-thumbnailers qt5-imageformats kimageformats”, still unable to view webp in Gwenview…Can someone please help? Thank you.

That post is old. These days, you need qt6-imageformats

Unless you are using an older, qt5-based image viewer, you should remove it.

Sorry to offtopic in this thread, but does it mean that KDE Plasma 6.0 will use the versions of QT and other programs that are also 6.0, or is it just a coincidence that both are “6”?

Yes, plasma 6 uses Qt6. It isn’t a coincidence.
