I recently switched to using Linux on a laptop from desktop. and I have no prior expertise with linux battery management.

I am experiencing power disruptions due to the intense rain. I must use my laptop, can you guys advise on battery management?

My Laptop EndevourOS Budgie Flavour: - 8GB RAM - I5 - 8th Gen - GTX 1050 Mobile.

You should have power-profiles-daemon with an EOS install. It also functions as a CPU limit type of software, and comparable to tlp and auto-cpufreq.
