What timestamp do these files have? Are they evenly distributed throughout time or have they been created around a certain time?

Anyways:

/home/user folder crowded with .bash_history-xxxxx.tmp

Well, it is all in the title… My ~/ repertory is filled with .bash_history-xxxxx.tmp I’m assuming that is not the expected behavior…? Or is it? ~/
