It appears that FOR NOW the issue has been resolved by itself, let’s see if it will remain this way.
Meanwhile, I am now contemplating whether it’s possible to have multiple profiles active for the same device, allowing for switching between my headset and soundbar. I am also curious about the number of profiles and whether there is a way to minimize them.

 ![profiles](https://forum.endeavouros.com/uploads/default/original/3X/0/f/0f0dd3af71c6afa437da389d06717fcad0b9205c.jpeg)

I attempted to search the forum without success. I currently have a soundbar connected to the optical output and a headset plugged into the motherboard’s back panel, but neither of them is producing any sound.
Yesterday I managed to get the headset working somehow, though the soundbar still wouldn’t function. However, today neither of them are working at all.
Right now my kernel version is 6.4.11 Zen with the KDE Desktop environment.
My hardware is:
3600x
b550 aorus master
nvidia 3070ti

[Here](http://ix.io/4E4x) the output of `inxi -Fxxc0z | eos-sendlog` for more precise info about my system

Here some output that might (or might not) be useful:

The audio disappeared again.

The only source of audio output I see is the one listed under inactive cards. Have you tried turning that on? If that card is truly supposed to be inactive, (mine is), then whatever source of audio it is supposed to be using is not being detected.

In which case you could try using the command `alsamixer` to see what is being detected and if anything is disabled.

It appears that running `sudo pacman -S alsa-firmware alsa-utils` fixed the problem. It never represented itself for now.

And the one under inactive was the nvidia one, not the motherboard on-board!

Cool, glad you solved the problem. You should mark your post as the solution.
