Hey! I’m new here. I thought English fonts/styles were the same on every OS by default, but I’ve realized they vary quite a bit, obviously, mainly because different systems use different methods to render them. That said, English still looks similar across distros unless you change the fonts etc.
However, when it comes to Arabic, I’ve noticed a drastic difference (coming from Windows). The style is much more readable, clearer, and richer.
I’m curious about what happens in the back-end of this rendering? what processes are involved and how does we get the results we get?
It would be helpful if you could point me to relevant resources where I can learn more about this and, ideally, customize things to my liking 
nvm it’s just Noto Sans Arabic fonts lol
