AMD Newbie: What do I need to have installed properly?

7900xtx wont boot

Hello, I recently bought a 7900xtx for myself and before that I was using the igpu inside my 7950x processor. When I connect the 7900xtx to the screen, the computer gets stuck on the boot screen, but when I connect the displayport to the processor, it opens.
