All sound randomly stopped working

After waking up my system from sleep I’ve found my audio to be not working. I tried switching back to my speakers from headphones but that didn’t fix it either. Tried restarting pipewire.service pipewire-pulse.service bluetooth.service and the system multiple times didn’t fix it. Couldn’t find a solution in the internet.

Pipewire-pulse Status: https://pastebin.com/UQdwwt7G

Not sure if this is what is needed?

/etc/modprobe.d

add

options snd_hda_intel power_save=0

Edit: Need to reboot after.

where exactly should i add it
only file in modprobe.d seems to be the firewall config

[usta@usta-archlinux modprobe.d]$ ls
firewalld-sysctls.conf

tried adding it to snd-hda-intel.conf
didnt fix it

You have to create the file and add it using a text editor or nano. Call it snd-hda-intel.conf

EX:

/etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf

add

options snd_hda_intel power_save=0

i did exactly that
didnt fix it

Okay, just an option to try. Did you check the audio output here and see if it changed.

nothing has changed everything looks normal

also sorry for telling this in advance but i might have figured out that a power cut before waking up my PC might have been the issue and
after the power cut i booted up the OS saw stuff working fine (didn’t touch anything sound related) came back to my pc after like half an hour and realised the sound was broken which i assumed was because of smth else
sound works fine in a live ISO btw which does fortunately rule out any hardware issues

So it is working okay now? Or your just telling me how it happened?

Edit: Is this a dual boot with Windows?

Welcome to the forum :enos: :enos_flag:
Have you tried if analog sound works ?

That’s kind of where i was going with my post #7

Edit: I can see it being on digital stereo on the hdmi but not the sound out.

Yes I guess I missed that, but I was saying that because he said that sound works with the live ISO.
Also what is the inactive card ?

its not working rn just telling what happened since i misunderstood the cause of the issue first time
everything looks normal its all detected but i dont hear anything
also not a dual boot

I don’t actually think this will work based on what you’ve done so far, but just in case, please try it:

Click this little button to expand it

it seems to be an audio controller thats attached to uhh nothing?
ive never used it
also here are the profiles both of my audio outputs that dont work

Bluetooth Headset

Speakers

it fixed my speakers but bluetooth headset is still broken

Did you reboot after doing it? If not, do it again then reboot.

rebooted again just to be sure still the same

Do you need to re-pair your headset?
