Affordable RISC-V computer commercially available for the first time!

Yes it runs Linux.

$119 for 4gb model

$149 for 8gb model

BTW first batch will be going towards companies, OSS organizations, and developers a like, not average consumers. Perhaps we can get some cash flowing and get some for the EOS devs?

I was reading this the other day, it’s SERIOUSLY tempting to me, as I really would like to play with some Risc-V stuff.

If this proves to be well supported with software, I might ditch the Raspberry PI for the 8GB model.

If I can get Linux on it I will try this board

You can. They specifically want Debian and Fedora folk working on it. Also, they are selling the first batch to devs and companies first. We should gather some eddies and get the ENdeavourOS team these.

Anyone up for porting Arch to RISC-V?

All it needs is bootstrapping using riscv64-linux-gnu-gcc and a buildbot with dependency chain resolution for ongoing package building.

Might be a good test for lilac…
