Moving home directory to another drive

So I found this, the accepted answer say it’s better to use mount instead of symlinking it. there’s this line in the comments for fstab /extra-home/username /home/username none defaults,bind 0 0 Is this a better solution or should I just symlink it?

Had this problem, you can move your home anywhere and maybe leave a symlink in the old location.
