ACPI Bios Errors

While trying to solve a problem related to SMT (basically it works when I run linux-lts but when running regular linux it says notsupported for some reason) I at one point looked at ACPI dmesg messages and noticed what seems very troubling (this output is from journalctl -b -p3 --no-host) https://0x0.st/XJJO.txt. ACPI Bios error. Something about AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT but I don’t know enough to see what that means. The Ubuntu forum I found about this suggested to update by BIOS, which I have done now but well this is still there. Anyone got any idea?

System specs: https://0x0.st/XJJW.txt

Most of the output is of informational value only. I don’t think this is related to SMT but rather an acpi bug with the Bios.

Is it something to worry about? And if so what can I do to fix it?

No, like @ricklinux already mentioned those are acpi bios bugs, Linux kernel can’t use some power management functions because the bios implantation is not complete or bugged.

The only way to fix this is through a bios update (if the manufacturer has fixed those bugs, doubtful though)

So in short no this is not something i would be concerned about.
