I just installed the 400-nit low-power LCD in my T14 Gen3 Intel, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to test out battery life this weekend see how much that LCD helps compared to the 300-nit one.
So, I MASSIVELY underestimated just how much better the 400-nit LCD is compared to the 300-nit LCD. While it’s not dead yet, battery drain has been consistent, and if it doesn’t suddenly fall off a cliff (it shouldn’t), battery life after the 400-nit LCD upgrade (40% brightness for this LCD) is up to NEARLY 7 hours!!! that’s over 90 minute improvement just from swapping the LCD!!! Still significantly shy of what the AMD can do, but massive improvement nevertheless.
