But the urinal is very inconveniently placed there. If you’ve watched porn on the computer before, you pee on the monitor.

Nope, no wrong things here…

I am true and honest to my virtues and morale and principles.
Something like blackspot, from where our eyes are not able to provide efficient signal to brain regarding the view. This comes in play while driving or while in some sports like cricket, and backhand badminton smash from shoulder level height. I had experienced the later one a lot, due to which sometimes my reverse bodied smashes land inside my court area.

I think our eyes cannot focus properly in very close distance.
From this, I remember the function of whiskers in animals, whose purpose is to generate the processing of the veru close surroundings, because animals vision becomes blur if anything is immediate front of them.

I tried the situation which you mentioned. I can see the either of the face of nose at a time, the portion is which is next to that eye where I want to see.
The other eye then sees the surrounding in that direction.

To explain you clearly, I captured the image of my eyes :

As you can see that, one of eye is able to see the nose, and other one is viewing the surrounding in the direction of interest.

Explain me bit more according to my inference.
It is something like constraints and limitations of the most advanced mechanism…
It is true it’s hard to focus that close, however to understand my point, try looking forward and close one eye at a time, without changing focus or direction of sight. you will get much more detail from the nose, even while looking forward.
I tried this now, and I can only see the scene in front of the eye. And I am not even able to see the nose, except the blurred tip of it.
Can you see the blurred tip of the nose when both eyes are open? I guess you can when you focus mentally on it, but once your attention is focused on what is the focus of your sight it should just vanish from your perception. This effect is more pronounced when your sight focus is directed lower then the line of your eyes.
Here’s another quirk of the mind related to sight: https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn17511-the-blind-spot-and-the-vanishing-head-illusion/

I am student of nuclear, quantum electrodynamics physics, hence thinking more around biophysics is luring me to experiment more…
If I keep repeatedly looking at it until it changes, then looking away long enough for it to, um, “re-group” it makes the back of my head hurt.
Should I open a help thread?
Possibly you might need help - but I doubt you’ll find it here!
You don’t think anyone here can follow me down a rabbit hole?
