5.1 Surround Sound Headset not working properly

Hey guys,
I’ve had an issue with my headset, an Astro A50 (Gen 4), ~1 1/2 months ago and posted on here. joekamprad linked a pulseaudio configuration file (https://gist.github.com/curz46/1ce42f9c59136cc812b7518963d770b4), which made the headset detect again, but as I now found out (had some time to finally use this thing properly), the Surround sound capabilities aren’t working.
The config file sets the “game” sink’s channel map to “left,right,front-center,rear-center,rear-left,rear-right”, which implies that the channels are there, but in pavucontrol, only the front left and front right channels are displayed and when playing back a 5.1 test file (https://archive.org/details/5.1SurroundSoundTestFilesVariousFormatsAACAC3MP4DTSWAV/Splash.wmv), surely enough, only front left, right and center play, rear left and rear right being very quiet and rear center not audible at all.
How would I go about getting surround sound to work?

Update: With the latest Pulseaudio update, the config edit is no longer needed as the headset is detected without it (Although the channels are now named “Game” and “Chat”, not “Game” and “Voice”).
However, Surround sound playback still doesn’t work correctly

2. Update: With another Pulseaudio Update today, it seems that Surround sound is now working. Playing the test file now plays all 5 channels (front right, center, left and surround right and left) just fine, with Sub ofc missing
